SITUATION

• Warana previously used centre punching to retain cylindrical SS tubes – a labor intensive and yet not 100% reliable process

• Customer also used a 2-k epoxy to act as a shim between the SS tube & plastic insert – it took 24 hours to cure

LOCTITE® SOLUTIONS

• Loctite® 680 Retaining Compound to bond SS tubes and Hysol® E-30CL to fill the gap between tube & plastic insert
