SITUATION

• The Torque Motors manufactured were used for Bio-Directional Tool Turret, where very high torques are induced

• The Rotor was heat shrink fit onto the shaft and Stator was heat shrink to housing with high interference

• These motors develop temperatures of 120 ℃ continuous

LOCTITE® SOLUTIONS

• Loctite® 648, High strength High temperature

• Slip fit with 10 micron gap was recommended for both assemblies

• Passes the Stall torque test @ 120℃
