A multinational customer was planning production of coffee makers for their export markets. The based station of the coffee maker has two rings that house the heating element and the gap between the inner and outer ring was to be sealed to prevent ingress of moisture, spilled liquids and other contaminants. The customer was looking for a product that provides reliable sealing, is process friendly to meet their production requirements and has UL approval as well as is approved for incidental food contact.
