Warana Adaptions – a start-up company in Vic., Australia – is making Hospital Detachable Poles. Warana previously used centre punching to retain cylindrical SS tubes. It was a labor intensive and yet not 100% reliable process. Customer also used a 2-k epoxy to act as a shim between the SS tube & plastic insert – it took 24 hrs to cure. Customer was looking for improvements in overall process.
